It's way smoother and creamier than the other brand which would be a little on the gritty side. This goes on so smoothly like butter, not gritty texture at all with this one.

The packaging no longer says raw and unrefined. It sits too heavy in my hair making it look very greasy. I though this would be a cream like maybe coconut oil is.
