I actually dont yet know if the phone is damaged as its sending odd messages about chargers not being properly connected but im not waiting to write this review because people need to know

I just had to yank this cord out of my six month old samsung note 8 that was not cheap telephone using a towel because in the three minutes it had been charging it was literally too hot to touch

This is the second time an amazon cable has done this
