It soesnt bend quite as much at the base as the picture implies and i wouldnt recommend bending it that far

I have a couple of cable that works fine but the nylon came loose which exposes the wire

With the addition of the black rubber part this resolves the issue of nylon coming loose and prevent the wire being bent and damage near the end
