The thing is the new phones have software built in so charging cannot cause any type of problem now they do fast charge but the cable has to be covered with a nylon covering or the phone will actually no its not

The companies that sold cables need to follow this companys lead its not so much the c type the cable also has to be covered or the phone will know from the software install

I was originally using the standard longish cable but they were always being stepped on and pulled out and eventually they stopped being able to communicate with android auto they would still charge my phone but they would not communicate with the system for google maps and voice messaging apps

Turned out that it was just the usb cables

The blue chords look great and they dont get twisted up on the ends like normal chords this is what usually breaks the wires inside which makes them stop working
