The unit has a habit of emitting a low level electrical interference noise which is only obvious with quieter material the gaps between songs or spoken word

In my test setup its connected to a sony xa1 phone via a also ugreen typec to typea adapter cable

When plugged in the phone immediately switches to the external sound card and plays back audio through it and impressively records from the microphone port as well

As far as im aware there is no way to adjust microphone gain in android so i suspect performance will be very dependant on the particular microphone you use
