It ignores macrovision whereas the asus card refuses to record in that situation. There is no way a third party is having that sort of control over my you tube account.

The install of the wintv product was fine check the site for updates though as was the alsobundled arcsoft showbiz videoediting software
I think the moreexpensive hauppauge offerings do this so ill not hold it against this product

If you are a skype user hauppauge capture may have changed the microphone and speaker settings and they will need changing back

It has not got a sound input but i am using the line in of my sound card for that

I have recorded over one hour of continuous video and skipped to the last few minuits and there was no voice lag

This works on videosvideo with adobe fmle but not with audio as well which is pretty common with usb capture dongles in my experience
