Update i returned the product as it was broken when it arrived and amazon gave me a full refund but the seller reached out to me anyway and offered me a free device for my inconvenience

It is not so loud you cant talk on the phone or have a conversation with others

There are no obvious switches on the fan so it has to be controlled by touch on the top

The method to turn it on is a touch sensor which is nice but i did find that i would accidentally change speed or turn it off when i would try to adjust the fan angle
