This was for a web cam extension however all advice i can find is that the max length you should use is 5 metres

Just the thing to connect to a remote webcam the webcam transmits by wifi but needed a power source and this did the job easily

When plugged in to an active usb socket the red light comes on indicating that the cable is powered

In my case when a usb camera is inserted into the other end of the cable the green light comes on temporarilyand comes on permanently when the camera is connected by a program
