Pros

The best way to keep from losing it is to keep it plugged into the usb drive. Converts my old portable hard drive that has old usb to fit in usb-c port on my 2020 macbook pro. Did not test speeds but does connect usb c to usb 3.

Cons

I really like the metal body and the look, but the downsides make it worse than the old plastic one. Nothing fits well at all. They aren't worth the postage.

The connection on both sides is all jiggly. Difficult to disconnect from the device that it is plugged into. Not sturdy enough to support the weight of a dangling 3' usb cable.
