Product is prefect for connecting usb-c devices to hdmi ported tvs and monitors. My new laptop requires, for certain applications, the use of a “c” connector instead of the hdmi. Hence the converter.
The build of this unit feels solid. The adapter is also very durable and built to last. Really a dood-for-all gadget.
Cons
Worked flawlessly for about 3 weeks. But its hardware was so *. They keep failing to maintain functionality and become unusable.
It no longer detects hdmi cables plugged into it. My laptop's screen was displayed once on my monitor in the span of 45mins and then never again.

Mac mini requires an hdmi to usbc converter not hdmi to thunderbolt
