I thought for sure that this adapter cable would work with my g7 thinkq since it says that it would work with my old g5 and the newer v20 and v30 lg phones

I have had it for close to a month and just hooked it up to my tcl tv for the first time tonight and when i did a message popped up on my phone saying that screen sharing is not allowed through the display port but i could wirelessly send video to the tv using direct wifi connection

The video resolution coming from my phone with that method would not fill the 1080 screen on my tv

I presume its because tmobile has blocked this ability so that high definition cannot be streamed through the phone to a tv which would use a fair amount of data
