This works flawlessly with both of the laptops. There is more desktop extender / mirroring capability with my hp laptop, but that is because of the windows vs macos environments difference. Big sur edition.

Cons

When using earphones, it gives me an annoying white noise. When i use the usb c for charging laptop, it makes constant hissing sound and gets hot. It may or may not override closed lid action.

The worst part is there is no support hotline i can call to troubleshoot. Neither of hdmi sockets works. Definetely, it is due to this hub issue.
