The position of the two usbc ports to connect to the laptop is fixed so it will only work on the specific macbooks that have that arrangement and as soon as apple decide they’re going to change the arrangement of their usbc ports by as much as a millimetre this device becomes instantly obsolete

The hdmi works well allowing you to set up a second monitor for cloning or extending your desktop in a neatly plugandplay fashion
