Pros

All metal brushed aluminum construction, and the small size. Strong cable, it's short and not very flexible, but it's sturdy. Several usb slots on it so you can connect to the internet but also have additional usb space.

Build qualityi thought the build quality was excellent


I used the ethernet for around 12hrs straight and i had no issues with the hub or ethernet dropping out


I ran several tests using totusoft lan speed test and with the hub it was consistently over 520mbps download


Although it is a good product i would wait for it to go on sale

The additional usb ports are a must for laptop users and the metal construction makes it more robust than other plasticky offerings

    Though its all running through one usb port so dont expect to get 3x usb drives transferring at usb3 speeds at once or something

    With respect to performance well its not really gige speed and i dont expect it to be because its got an usb interface even for usb 3
