Pros

It is very easy to remove or reposition when necessary. It is easy to install and simple to operate. Ratchet is smooth and easy to adjust.

Keeps chairs, gas cans, groceries from sliding to the fron. Perfect solution to keep my items from shifting while i drive. My cooler full of beer no longer slides around during travel!

Cons

The ratchet gears, when locked into place, are very difficult to un-lock. The locking plate does not protrude outward from the gear housing. Does not work in my gmc sierra truck.
