Top hatches slide open, the bottom drawer is generous, and the compartments that are under the top hatches are deep enough to hold just about anything! Great for pencils on the top and then maybe watercolor/gouche tubes in the lower compartments.

The box holds what i need it hold, and looks good doing it. Excellent for carrying lots of smaller tools. expected it to be slightly heavy.

It's a nice, sturdy box thaat can be used in any number of ways. Much prettier than a plastic tackle box. The construction is sturdy and i love the leather handle.

I believe this will become a true keepsake for my grandson. I am a potter and bought this originally for all of my pottery tools to keep by my wheel.

The drawer has no latch to keep it in place during travel. Every drswer is so shallow. It is awjward to carry and heavy before putting anything into it.
