Simply wanted to see the automotive application and adapt it to another project. Great seller. Looks and fits just like the original part from bmw.
Cons
Center fastener cannot be used as designed. About 2 inches shorter than oem. Does not fit my bmw 2003 525 wagon. Oem.

The only problem was that one of the pins crushed down when installing

Im not sure whether i had it misaligned or the plug was a little off

I had installed it once successfully then realized i had routed the cable incorrectly and had to unplug and replug it and that is when the pin crushed

Be careful when plugging it in and make sure the pins are aligned the pins are very thin and delicate but not any more than the original bmw units
