Also would like to see another internal sleeve so that under curtain weight there is less drop down of the rod in the middle

I needed to extend mine to almost the maximum and my smartpants handyman installed the two brackets not at the outer edges of the windows but sort of at every third of the window don’t ask

So the curtains sit on the edges that is on the 13 of the rod on each side

Rods are attractive and sturdy but if you have a window opening toward the 48 dimension do not order the 24 48 rod since it will sag due to the small rod overlap
