Rings are supposed to be 1. My curtains are very lightweight cotton. The clips are so tight that i could hardly squeeze them open. I fear the edge of the extremely tight clamp may damage/wear holes in my curtains.

Clips are strong and it’s a nice quiet slide if you want to close the curtains
These curtain rod rings seem really well made and were easy to use but my husband preferred the way the curtains looked without them

Can’t believe i almost considered getting pottery barn version of these which are 50 bucks for 10
