The grip is thick enough to be supportive and it's got a bit of squishiness to it. The material isn't too soft and squishy; it’s rubbery and firm, but comfortable. This grip is so comfy.

The thickness and the way it flares out at the ends makes the writing experience very awkward for me, as someone with small hands. Way too bulky and uncomfortable.

To charge the apple pencil 2, you need to take it off and it’s not exactly the easiest thing to remove. You have to remove the grip in order for the pen to recharge against the ipad.
