Once i got the hang of the setting up timedate as error in instructions you use the mem button to set time and date not the start stop and press set not mem to switch

It worked well but since it does not have its own battery the item will reset once disconnected from the usb port

The description of the settings is really unclear and i only got there by reading a lot of reviews and one mentioning how to bypass the instruction leaflet
