Installation on an amd motherboard was pretty simple but the clips were not long enough had to bend the steel to get it to clip on there

You really have to put some force on this thing to get it to latch down

But the latching mechanism that is used in place of the push pin design is not good if your motherboard has the memory modules or other smaller gpu coolers near the cpu

I had to uninstall two of my four memory modules just to have room to get to the latch and it was still difficult to get it latched down securely

It was then that i realized that it was not going to work because it left no room to reinstall one of the memory modules
