Pros & Cons
Pros
These are a great, compact size, and they just as loud as the old behemoths. Appears well made and hope it is good quality for detecting smoke. Easy to install, attractive for a smoke detector.

When you interconnect smoke alarms directly they drop off the base unit presumably because the 915 mhz rf signal is not available to the base unit

When you choose to connect to base unit and not direct to other alarms the base unit does sound all alarms and tells you which one triggered

The other question was why the base unit doesn’t notify of battery loss when i pulled the 3 volt batt from the alarm
