As far as being a home button and it works but was a little too small and keeps falling out of the phone maybe needs to work on designing a little bit more

There is a thin tape on the piece that gets placed on top of the motherboard

It does not have fingerprint id which ive never used anyway

Its a physical connect function home buttonyou must attach the logic board connecting cable to the right position during installit may not worth to a freshman who havent any repairing experience

The home button worked and was easily installed the fingerprint reader did not work but i saw in the item description that it would not so i was not surprised
