The mic functionality only works when you turn the mic on the remote on and by clicking onto the mic button on the screen upper left hand corner

It seems you have to have your shield actively waiting for a voice command and the remote needs to be turned on to record your voice

Now you need to assign this learned code to one of the 5 colored keys at the bottom

In order to use any of the learned buttons you have to switch the linkstyle remote to tv mode solid blue light

Once done the linkstyle remote must be returned to normal operating mode by pressing the tv button to exit solid blue off to control your nvidia shield

I havent used it to its maximum potential and the space is tight where i am working therefore i really have to exaggerate the direction i aim the remote to reach my extended projected page
