The ribbon was perfect well inked however i just wish the packaging had been better

The plastic ones are physically too big for the imperial machine but the ribbon length is still spot on since the old imperial reels are thinner on the inside see the third picture for the full length of reel wound onto one spool

Id definitely say if you have metal spool and dont want to replace them with the plastic buy this product for the ribbon and then look up a video on how to rethread old spools

If anything the ink is even darker on the imperial because the noiseless has an arresting mechanism that slows down the keys before they strike

I have a smith corona coronet 10 and this works great i put it on and then had to take it off and it sticks to the spindle and the inside of the spool came out and i had to pull them off and put them back in the spool
