I had to use two large washers around the camera bolt to help secure it

I prefer bushnells mounting bracket but its not strong enough to support the heavy metal security box and is designed to attach to the camera and not the box so youre stuck with this one for now

Without it i can only strap the camera to a tree
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
This is a huge improvement to using the nylon strap that comes with your camera and having to shove sticks behind it to get the camera positioned at the correct angle in order to photograph the area you wish to

Then after bolting the bracket to the tree just slip the ball into the larger hole pull downward position the camera then tighten the black knob to lock the camera into whatever position you desire

Like i said before huge advantage from sticking sticks behind it to try to get the camera to point in the right direction

Although i am pleased with the product i do feel that having to shell out the money for the camera box security cable and an additional 35 for this bracket is a lot of money especially when most people prefer to have multiple cameras in several locations for more information on deer herd patterns and behavior but this product is great if you have money to blow andor want to aim the camera very precisely
