Pros

The mx-600 features 10-softkeys that can be individually programmed and labeled. This is in addition to the hard * on the remote which are also individually programmable. The only thing i would change about this remote is the select button.

Cons

When you stick those units in place, they block the receiver from being able to receive an infrared signal. Nice idea, but no dice. Have to unplug the power and plug back in then it works for a little while.

I mapped the hard keys to the corresponding hard keys on the mx600

Competitiveness

Overall though i would definitely recommend this for any audiovideo system with multiple componants in a cabint with a tv outside

I would rather spend that on a hddvd or bluray player
