The tailswitch is a reverse clicky press to turn on and half press to switch modes that defaults to medium with no mode memory

The led in mine is the nichia 219b which produces a beautiful neutralwhite probably around 4500k cct light with excellent color rendition particularly the red tones that are difficult for the cool white leds to render at all

Note for buyers if you are looking for max output steer clear of the aaa offerings as the pitiful capacity and terrible current capacity of aaa cells especially alkaleaks does not lend itself well to super high output
