I am very sorry to say that this bottle was not a good purchase

But first of all when it came the rubber at the bottom of the bottle had black dirty spots that looked like mold and although i scrubbed it a lot they never came off

I figured that it was only the way the rubber was made but when the description of the item states safest infusion water bottle on the market white sure it is clean and avoid dangerous molds i would expect something clean from the get go

It still did its job wonderfully and i was about to buy another one for my spouse but i am glad i waited because the truly disappointing thing was that after only 3 weeks of using this bottle it started to fall apart the spring that opens up the lid keeps coming out not allowing me to open and close the lid like it is supposed to and the rubber piece in the cap that is supposed to not let the water spill kept falling off until i couldnt use it anymore

I have been very careful in cleaning it by hand and taking good care of it but it still fell apart on its own
