Honestly i feel this is unfair as the latch can be reversed and is described as such in the description

All doors may open inwards but which side the handle goes does affect the direction the latch needs to be in

I did struggle loosening it but with a bit of wd40 sprayed onto the screw and left to work its way in and a bit more downward pressure on screwdriver i managed to get it off without camming out the screw one of the reviewer seems to have done this as there are metal filings scattered about
