There is a slight give to it so it doesnt feel like it will snap in half while im fiddling with it and it isnt the type of hard plastic that seems like it will crack with a few bumps

I bought this rear cover as a replacement for a switcheasy coverbuddy which had started chipping and cracking within a month of pampered living on the couch

The cover feels quite snug but didnt feel like it was slightly too small for the ipad 3 as the coverbuddy did or that i had to force it onto the ipad nor does feel tensioned like its about to pop off with any small bump

Additionally the inside of the cover the part touching the back of the ipad has the same soft finish as the outside while the coverbuddy reverted to the plastic without the soft finish on the inside of the cover

The lack of packaging in transit only a slightly padded manila envelope would leave me anxious about ordering a second one but my first one arrived undamaged and ignorance was bliss i guess

Update 63013 after about six months of use the magnet has fallen off the replacement case and i have gone back to the original
