Pros

Ubiquiti's mesh access points work great, with the simplest setup known to man - or woman. System has controller module, access point(s) and router/gateway that may be on separate hardwares. Deep packet inspection without any slowing of throughput.

U know what i'm talkin' 'bout. A lot. Cleverly done. Pretty good device for the smb market.

The udm pro is overkill for my application but worth every penny. With the u dm pro my network connection is flawless. From the controller perspective, this is an all in one controller system.

Cons

The touting is horrible. Can't get zoom or teams to work.

The operating system is beyond crippled for a product that labels itself as “pro”. Tech support recommends me to a 4th party rma service that is non responsive. After hours of google searching and i find that there are lots of people with similar prob... Read More

The user interface is fantastic the best i’ve used in the network device and i have a lot of experience with these things

I set it up with some cameras and a 14 tb hard drive and it worked great

The udm is a neat piece of it gear and has an interesting ecosystem though the management side of it is very satisfying

Ubiquity nvr is a standalone device and you cannot combine the hard drives in that device with the hard drive in this device
