Previously i would have cut pieces of wood to fill in the old hinge and striking plate holes but there were always slight marks to show where the repair had been done

He says this is the only product of this kind which he can keep using as apparently other products all get hard and unusable after opening

Wear gloves when using the paste and be careful to remove anything from the vicinity which might be damaged if it comes into contact with the paste because for example if some of the substance spills onto a garment and it sets hard it’s very difficult to remove and will stain2

Also the can is very difficult to open initially so you’ll need a screwdriver or similarly shaped tool to prize off the lid
