I cracked the screen on my macbook pro big mistake
There was a very thin rubber bead around the outside edge of the screen
While trying to clean off the old glue i cracked the glass

Fits perfectly on my macbook pro 15inch mid 2010
This new screen has adhesive along the appropriate edges with a removeable layer of protective paper on the adhesive side
Then you may need a qtip and rubbing alcohol to remove any old adhesive that sticks to the case of the monitor
It looked pretty sticky but i didnt test it and used my own vhb tape on top of it

There was a very thin rubber bead around the outside edge of the screen

So after i had a corner lifted i removed the bead which made it much easier to get under the shattered edge of the screen to continue to lift it out

Once the screen was fully removed i made sure the bead and computer were both clean and replaced the rubber bead onto the computer
