The ribbon and ink are fine but the plastic spool wont stay in place if not inserted exactly right

I bought this to replace what i thought was dry ink ribbon in a used underwood 319 typewriterbut even after having to install this the black ink is still fading at times in my typewriter

The instructions on the package tell me to put it in my typewriter the wrong wayso that made it even harder to install

I did rewind the ribbon onto the original reels just to keep the typewriter as original as possible

Ok perhaps its silly but a friend found an old underwood late 1940s typewriter which had 34starred34 in the film 34night shift34 have to see it one day
