Pros
Keeps drinks ice cold. Coffee stays hot. Keeps my drinks super cold & doesn't sweat.
Gave to my father for father's day. Easy to grip with all fingers. Dishwasher makes them look like new. Feels good in the hand.
Cons
The outside chrome is tarnished and not anough chrome in some places. Water seems to have leak on the box itself. It's better than a regular mug, but far from what you would envision when purchasing an insulated mug.

If i want to keep coffee hot for more than hour the hotplate does not work as well with this mug

The hot plate heats up the outside of the mug but not the inside and can only keep the coffee warm if full and left on the hot plate for 2 hours or so

If you grab the mug without the handle it is only warm to the touch
