Pros

The wood is very beautiful, solid and sturdy. It feels like a true handcrafted carpenter’s work. Looks great, very sturdy, super easy to assemble.

This is a great desk once you get past the off-gassing of the shellac. It came packaged securely and delivered without defect. It shipped earlier than promised arrived in good shape.

Incredibly beautiful reclaimed wood with lots of personality. There is a strong smell due to the gloss finish, but it's dissipating. Finish is in a high sheen.

It’s easy to put together, is totally sturdy, and the perfect size for my purposes. Easy to assemble. You can choose leg placement, the instructions are understandably brief.

Cons

As an adult it feels like a childs school desk. The odor of the coating (water based polyurethane - per the seller) is still strong. Will have to be sanded and refinished.
