Also i had to adjust my paddling style to a lower arch so not to run into the edges of the umbrella

I was really hoping this would be a big help for hands free sun protection while hiking but unfortunately it just doesnt stay put very well with a breeze

Still i would return it if i still had the wrapper the item came in because i really cant use it as is
