But my dog really likes to romp into the snow and ends up getting snow in from the top which causes discomfort especially if it ices up and causes the boot to come off

I plan on getting some of that vet tape that only sticks to itself wrap it from the ankle and part way up the leg and see if i can close off the top of the boot
