Pros & Cons

Pros

Took me less than an hour to replace the faulty switch. Took about 30 minutes to install. Saved me from buying a new washing machine.

Cons

Obviously faulty or terrible craftmanship of this part. Was comparable price to alternatives, but clearly not manufactured to the same standards. Only made by one manufacturer and sold to these wholesalers for $1.

Using ohmmeter the switch contacts appear to not make contact as no continuity is observed in the meter. Original switch activates when the arm is approximately halfway through its travel. Lasted 11 months.
