A headlamp with different light levels or light patterns is not unique but what makes the se series special is that the leds are dimmable

It firmly clicks through each position locking into place with virtually no chance that the headlamp would accidentally click to another position

The power button is sealed against moisture but there would be more security if the battery compartment had a gasket

Its a different design than the four previous headlamps and im giving it 4 stars instead of 5 only because i prefer the original design not because its a bad product

It doesnt always close tightly which leaves a gap that could allow water to get into the battery compartment
