Pros

It is beautiful, if you're into more natural looking finished with a lot of satiny depth. Still learning the whole pen making art. Here are some before and after photos.

Mike mahoney uses mahoney's to refinish ikea gerton tabletops. Even used it on utensil handles (old wooded knives, wooden handled stir sticks, etc.



Cons

Tung oil is probably a better choice. Spent 6 days applying oil to cutting boards, and waiting to dry before waxing. Disappointing, considering the high cost.

    I kept reapplying it where the wood looked dry for a couple of hours it took took two hours before the wood kept a sheen
