Compared to the makerbot 2 series i worked with the ultimaker 2 delivers pla prints that stick to the bed without issues
Competitiveness
I love this 3d printer and i hope to see more ultimaker 3d printers in the future
The ultimaker prints a bit of material without putting the head down i
However for the price the utlimaker 2 seemed the best

That light weight means there are very few vibrations and low noise compared to other 3d printers

And to be able to do so you will need a fairly high degree of control over print settings and print execution
