First and foremost these are not water proof

The lower portion is fully rubberized like a rain boot but the tongue opens fully into the boot with no attempt at sealing around it

The only thing i would like to see if they ever tweak the design would be to attach the tongue to each side of the boot to make them truly waterproof even higher up on the boot
