It is was it is but based on the angle of the mirror arm it does not fold down flush against the telescoping shaft

The telescoping arm is a great feature that allows you to either pick up metal items claims upto 16 pounds have not tried this yet andor attach the mirror and extend it to wherever you are trying to see within its reach
