Pros

If 21 incher is too small for your beginner, this 23incher is a good alternative. For the great price the craftsmanship is awesome. Best of all, for everything included and the quality, it was very reasonably priced.

The included chart and guide book makes it easy for beginners to learn the ukulele. This instrument is amazing for someone looking to learn their first instrument and/or learn some music theory. The little booklet and chord chart are. A good extra.

The case is very nice. Not a flimsy gig bag, but a nice tweed padded case. I dont really care for the carry case (the zippers are plastic) but it does what it needs to when carrying and storing my uke.

It sounds fantastic both as an electric or acoustic especially as an acoustic. It has a distinctive sound that my husband prefers above my other assorted ukuleles.

Action is on the high side at 4mm at the 12th fret. Now that i see that the strap feeds behind the neck, the pin placement makes much more sense.

Cons

The nut slots were not cut deep enough. There were also sharp edges to some of the fret wires.

Build quality of the ukulele lowers the aesthetics rating. Workmanship is not exquisite as stated. Perhaps, the dove bridge adds to this.

I heard it reviewed and compared with more expensive name brand ukes and it fit right in
