Be sure to peel off the protective cover off of the display it is hard to see and you have to peel it back with your fingernail as there is no peel tab

I chose this dmm over others because it is rugged and you can access both the battery and fuses through one compartment with metal threaded not selftapping screw all without breaking calibration seals and not having to go inside the unit to the pcb

Both fuses are fastacting ktype ceramic fuses

The one thing i didnt like was that the included temperature probe is fahrenheit only it can be set to celsius only but only at the factory
