The test leads snap into the face of the meter. You just need to add a magnet or buy the upgraded model with temp probes which has the magnet on the battery cover. There’s nothing blocking the connection between the clamp.

Love my multi meter. Works fine and you can tell it will be durable. Works good and is cheap tho.
