With the mode indicator visible press and hold for 23 seconds then let go to cycle to the next mode

I had to cycle twice to get to 43

Being able to switch to 43 ar makes the picture far more clear than the stretched 169 picture

As previously mentioned changing the ar requires a long press about 3 seconds and once the ar is displayed another long press will take you to the next ar ratio

So i originally purchased this item and then received as a gift another type of dvdcd player so never had to use this

All i can say about this item is all the parts were there when i received in mail all ready to connect
